Concessionary rates

I hold a small number of spaces at a reduced rate for people who are students or experiencing financial hardship. If the standard fee would be a barrier for you, please don’t hesitate to mention this when you get in touch — I will always do my best to accommodate you where I can.

“Beginning therapy is an act of courage — cost should never be the thing that stands in the way.”

Things people often ask

If you don’t find the answer you’re looking for here, please feel free to get in touch — I’m always happy to help.

Ask me directly

Payment is made by bank transfer and is due 24 hours before each session. Once you book in, I’ll send you my bank details along with a confirmation of your session time.

I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged at the full session rate, as I’m unable to offer that time to another client at short notice.

I understand that life can be unpredictable, and I will always try to be flexible where possible. If you’re unsure, please just get in touch and we can discuss it.

There’s no fixed answer to this — therapy is different for everyone. Some people find that six to twelve sessions gives them what they need, while others prefer longer-term support. There is no minimum commitment, and you are free to end our work together at any point.

We will regularly check in during our sessions to make sure you’re getting what you need and moving towards your goals.

I use a secure, encrypted video platform for all online sessions. You don’t need to download any software — sessions run directly in your browser. I’ll send you a link ahead of each appointment.

All you need is a private, comfortable space, a stable internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone.

Yes. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of the work we do together, and everything shared within our sessions remains private. There are a small number of legal and ethical exceptions — for example, if there were serious concerns about risk of harm to yourself or others — but I would always aim to discuss this with you first if at all possible.

I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework and take my duty of confidentiality very seriously.

Please do mention it when you get in touch. I hold a small number of spaces at a reduced concessionary rate for students and people on a low income. Cost should not be a barrier to accessing support, and I will always do my best to find something that works for you.

Yes — I offer a free, no-obligation 20-minute telephone or video call before we begin. This is a chance for you to ask any questions, tell me a little about what’s brought you to therapy, and for us to see whether we feel like a good fit for each other. There’s no pressure to go ahead after the call.

Yes. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), which means I work within their Ethical Framework and am committed to ongoing professional development, regular supervision, and continuous reflection on my practice.
